How to make a printable calendar
- Choose a monthly calendar, one month to a page, or the whole year on one page.
- Pick the month and year to start from. For a monthly calendar, choose how many months you want, up to twelve, and each one gets its own page.
- Under “More options”, choose the day the week starts on, landscape or portrait, lines for notes, and a title such as your class or family name.
- Download or print the PDF. Letter and A4 both work, with wide margins so nothing is cut off.
Tips for using your calendar
- Print twelve months at once and staple them at the top for a wall calendar that lasts the year.
- Landscape gives the biggest squares to write in; portrait leaves room for notes under the month.
- In the classroom, a monthly calendar on the board helps children count the days, find the date and look ahead to birthdays.
- Turn off US holidays for a clean grid, or keep them to plan around school breaks and family days.
- The whole-year page is handy for planning a school year, booking vacations or tracking a habit with a tick each day.
- Use a different color pen for each person in the family, and everyone can see whose day is whose.
Common questions
Is it free?
Yes. No account, no email and no watermark. Print as many calendars as you like.
Can I print a whole year?
Yes, two ways: choose twelve months for a page each, or “Whole year on one page” for every month on a single sheet.
Which holidays are shown?
US federal holidays, such as Memorial Day, Independence Day and Thanksgiving, and widely kept days such as Valentine’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day and Halloween. Dates that move each year are worked out for the year you choose.
Can the week start on Monday?
Yes. Under “More options”, choose Monday as the first day of the week.
Can I use any year?
Yes, past or future: type the year, or step through with − and +. Print next year to plan ahead, or a year long gone for a family history project.
Can I print the same calendar again later?
Use “Copy link to this calendar”. The link rebuilds exactly the same pages. Calendars you download or print on this device are also listed under “Your recent sheets”.
Can I print without downloading?
Yes. Print, next to Download, sends the calendar straight to your printer. On some browsers and on phones it opens in a new tab, ready to print from there.
