About Printablesmith

Printablesmith is a small, independent site of printable makers. You type your own words, see the sheet as you go, and download a clean PDF to print at home or at school.

It is made for parents, teachers, tutors and anyone running a party, a club or an activity session who needs a sheet that fits their own words rather than a ready-made one.

How it works

There is no account, no email sign-up and no watermark. Everything happens in your browser: the words you type are not uploaded, and the PDF is made on your own device.

Each maker has a link you can copy to come back to the same sheet later. The link holds your words and settings, so keep it private if they are.

The letters and pictures

Puzzles and cards use Helvetica, which every PDF reader has. Tracing sheets use Andika, a font made by SIL International for children learning to read, shared under the SIL Open Font License.

The pictures on picture bingo cards are Microsoft’s Fluent Emoji, shared under the MIT License.
